This means, that for a brand-new battery I just purchased through Costco, I only have 14 months left on it, in case something fails on the battery's behalf. I was told by a Tire Center supervisor that their battery policy has changed - the battery I would be getting today as a replacement for the defective battery sold to me, would no longer restart the 36 month warranty on the product, it is a total 36 month warranty policy. No big deal - I went to my Costco right after AutoZone, explained what was going on, and asked for it to be replaced. Luckily I had the day off, so I used another car to go test the dead battery at AutoZone down the street, and unfortunately all things pointed to the fact that the battery was no longer capable of holding a charge. ![]() Went to start the car this morning - completely dead battery.
